Let’s get it on!

For the love of all that is holy… When will Daryl just grab hold of Carol and Marvin Gaye it? The sexual tension between them has been simmering, ready to erupt (pardon the pun) into a boiling deluge of passion since the second series, or sometime around then. By the time the gang were holed up in the prison in the third season, the pair of them were tearing at each other’s clothes, at least in their dreams. Carol has dropped Continue Reading...

A New Series

The second half of season seven of ‘The Walking Dead’ is fast approaching (is it the 20th Feb?), and my new book is underway, with me now once again having the bug for writing, well and truly under my skin. So it is good news all around, I guess. My main hope for the future, apart from my upcoming series of books to be received as well as the first two, is that Rick Grimes is finally going to grow a Continue Reading...

Outbreak – Hinter den Linien: Endzeit

Had some outstanding news today. The German translation for ‘The Dead Walk the Earth’ has been completed and is now available on Kindle. I’d imagine that the paperback edition will be soon to follow. The name has been changed for the German market, and now translates as ‘Outbreak: Behind the Lines’. And in my opinion, the cover is awesome! A proud day, if I do say so myself, as my stories are now breaking language barriers, and I am hoping Continue Reading...

DOOMED!

The last man to have walked on the moon died recently. No one has been back to visit that alien world in the forty-four years since Eugene Cernan stepped onto its surface. Such a shame. As a species, we are regressing. With the amount of resources misused by Bush and Blair on illegal wars, or the ordnance that Obama has dropped in the last eight years, or the money squandered by European countries on foreign aid, and funding the overthrow Continue Reading...

The Revenant

I watched a movie today that I didn’t expect to enjoy. But to my surprise, I found myself entertained from start to finish. I am speaking about ‘The Revenant’. Not the 2016 movie with Leonardo DiCaprio (which is an awesome movie), but a 2009 film with David Anders leading the cast as a soldier who is killed in Iraq, and then returns from the dead. Those of you who know me will be well aware that I do not consider Continue Reading...

REMAKES OF CLASSICS = EPIC FAILURES

Watching the original Ben-Hur on TV, starring Charlton Heston. Even fifty-seven years after it was made, it’s still an awe inspiring epic of a movie, that remains unmatched to this day by most of the films knocked out by Hollywood. There have been a few modern classics that have come close to being worthy of sitting in the same category, such as ‘Gladiator’ and ‘Troy’, but in general, our screens are awash with unsatisfying reconstructions that leave us wondering why Continue Reading...

Seasons Greetings

Merry Christmas to all my readers, fans, stalkers, and haters out there.   Wherever you may be, or whatever you are doing, I hope the day is a good one and that 2017 is a great year for you all.   Of course, many of you sick fucks will be hoping that this coming year is when the apocalypse finally happens, and if 2016 is anything to go by (at least for celebrities and politicians), then you may well get Continue Reading...

THE LONELY BEAN…PREVIEW

‘The Lonely Bean’ is now complete(ish). I’m new to the whole writing books for children thing, so it’s a bit of a learning curve. However, I’ve managed to keep the blood and bad language to a minimum. What I need now is some feedback from you good folks. Anyone wishing for a preview of the book, please private message me with your email address and I will fire a PDF copy across to you. Your input and the opinions of Continue Reading...

THE WALKING DEAD NEEDS A SERIOUS FACE LIFT!

The Walking Dead was great for the first couple of seasons. It was new, something very different from what we were used to seeing. Vampires were on every channel, either being easily defeated by young girls and nerds, or too busy searching for their own safe space because they’re actually really sensitive souls and don’t like killing people. Enter The Walking Dead; death and destruction on an epic scale in a world where no one was safe, regardless of their Continue Reading...

Good Morning Zom-Poc Competition

Check out the below link for a chance to win an awesome Christmas Zombie Hamper from the ‘Good Morning Zompoc’ crew.   Answer the question correctly, and you’re in with a chance to claim a great prize. I couldn’t think of anything better than a bunch of signed books to chill out with, while having a beer or ten.   Also, while you’re there, have a listen to some of their pod-casts. Great entertainment and some interesting special guests, including Continue Reading...
